Verily those who keep away from evil and follow the straight path shall be in the midst of gardens and springs of water. 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 "No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave it." 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 and that My punishment is a painful punishment. 50 And tell them of Abraham's guests, 51 who came to him saying, "Peace be with you." Abraham said, "We are afraid of you". 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 [Ibrahim (Abraham) again] said: "What then is the business on which you have come, O Messengers?" 57 They replied: 'We are sent to sinful nation. 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 Except his wife, of whom We had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind. 60
