▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
And the dwellers in Al-Hijr denied (Our) messengers. 80 And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away. 81 And they used to hew out dwellings from the hills, (wherein they dwelt) secure. 82 Then the Blast caught them in the morning 83 And all that they had done (for security) availed them nothing. 84 And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them except with truth, and the Hour is surely coming, so overlook (O Muhammad SAW), their faults with gracious forgiveness. [This was before the ordainment of Jihad holy fighting in Allah's Cause]. 85 Surely your Lord is the Creator of all things, the Knowing. 86 We have indeed bestowed on you the seven oft-repeated verses and the Great Qur'an. 87 So covet not things We have bestowed on a portion of them to enjoy, and do not grieve for them, and protect those who believe; 88 And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" - 89 As We have sent down on the dividers, (Quraish pagans or Jews and Christians). 90 Those who made the Quran into shreds. 91 But, by thy Sustainer! [On the Day of Judgment] We shall indeed call them to account, one and all, 92 About what they used to do. 93 So proclaim that which thou art commanded, and withdraw from the idolaters. 94 We are surely sufficient to deal with those who scoff at you, 95 Those who adopt, with Allah, another god: but soon will they come to know. 96 We know indeed thy breast is straitened by the things they say. 97 But glorify your Lord with His praise, and prostrate yourself: 98 And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty (i.e. death). 99
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
