Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine]. [See the "Book of History" by Ibn Kathir]. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
