Q (Qaaf)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Quran! 1 No, but they marvel that from among themselves a warner has come to them. The unbelievers say (in mockery): 'This is a marvelous thing! 2 Why - [how could we be resurrected] after we have died and become mere dust? Such a return seems far-fetched indeed!" 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them; with Us is a book recording. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Did they never observe the sky above them: how We built it and beautified it; and it has no cracks; 6 And the earth have We spread out, and have flung firm hills therein, and have caused of every lovely kind to grow thereon, 7 An insight and a Reminder for every slave turning to Allah (i.e. the one who believes in Allah and performs deeds of His obedience, and always begs His pardon). 8 We have sent blessed water down from the sky to grow gardens, harvestable crops 9 And tall date-palms laden with clusters ranged. 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 In the past Noah's people, and the people of Rass and Thamud gave the lie (to Messengers), 12 and so did 'Ad, and Pharaoh and Lot's brethren, 13 the dwellers of the Thicket and the nation of Tubba', all belied their Messengers, therefore My threat was realized. 14 So did We tire by creating the first time? Rather they doubt being created again. 15
