The Key (Al-Faatehah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful 1

Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, 2 the All-merciful, the All-compassionate, 3 Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. 4 Thee alone do we worship; and unto Thee alone do we turn for aid. 5 Show us the straight way, 6 The way of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings, not of those who have been condemned [by Thee,] nor of those who go astray! 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
