Have you not seen how those who dispute the revelations of God, turn away from Truth to falsehood? 69 Those who reject the Book and that with which We have sent Our Apostle; but they shall soon come to know, 70 When the fetters and chains are round their necks they shall be dragged 71 boiling water, and cast into the Fire. 72 Then shall it be said to them: "Where are the (deities) to which ye gave part-worship- 73 "Besides Allah" They will say: "They have vanished from us: Nay, we did not invoke (worship) anything before." Thus Allah leads astray the disbelievers. 74 (They will be told): “This is because while you were on earth you took delight in untruth and exulted in it. 75 Enter the gates of Hell to stay therein forever. The abode of the arrogant is evil. 76 HENCE, remain thou patient in adversity - for, verily, God's promise always comes true. And whether We show thee [in this world] something of what We hold in store for those [deniers of the truth,] or whether We cause thee to die [ere that retribution takes place - know that, in the end,] it is unto Us that they will be brought back. 77 Indeed We sent many Messengers before you: of them there are some whose account We have narrated to you and there are others whose account We have not narrated to you. It did not lie in any Messenger's power to bring any Sign except with Allah's leave. So when Allah's decree came, the matter was decided with justice, and those steeped in error courted utter loss, then and there. 78
