Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the midmorning, 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
