Blessed is He who placed in the heavens constellations of stars, and placed a burning lamp in it and the luminous moon. 61 And it is He Who made the Night and the Day to follow each other: for such as have the will to celebrate His praises or to show their gratitude. 62 The (faithful) slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon the earth modestly, and when the foolish ones address them answer: Peace; 63 who pass the night prostrate to their Lord and standing; 64 who pray, "Our Lord, save us from the torment of Hell, for its torment is killing: 65 Verily ill it is as an abode and as a station. 66 And those who, when they spend, are neither prodigal nor grudging; and there is ever a firm station between the two; 67 And those who call not unto other god along with Allah and slay not any soul which Allah hath forbidden, save in justification, and commit not fornication. And whosoever shall do this, shall incur the meed. 68 Whose punishment will be doubled on the Day of Judgement, and he will live for ever in disgrace, 69 except he who repents and believes and does good works those, Allah will change their evil deeds into good deeds; Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful. 70 And whosoever repenteth and worketh righteously, then verily he repenteth toward Allah with a true repentance. 71 Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable (avoidance); 72 And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind. 73 And they who say: O our Lord! grant us in our wives and our offspring the joy of our eyes, and make us guides to those who guard (against evil). 74 Those shall be recompensed with the highest rank for their patience. There they shall receive a greeting, and peace! 75 Abiding therein; goodly the abode and the resting-place. 76 Say: 'My Lord esteems you not at all were it not for your prayer, for you have cried lies, and it shall surely be fastened.' 77
