The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 and Man says., 'What ails her?' 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
