Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day, 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 noble, writers 11 who know all that you do: 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: Shattering (Al-Infitaar). Sent down in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
