'Lord' said Moses, 'expand my chest, 25 And ease for me my task 26 Remove the defect of my tongue 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 "And appoint for me a helper from my family, 29 Aaron my brother 30 Add Thou through him to my strength, 31 and let him share my task, 32 “In order that we may profusely proclaim Your Purity.” 33 and remember You much: 34 Indeed, You are of us ever Seeing." 35 He said: You are indeed granted your petition, O Musa 36 Indeed, We showed Our favour to you before also, 37 "When We inspired your mother with that which We inspired. 38 "'Put him into a chest, then cast it into the river. The river will cast it on to the bank, and there he shall be taken up by an enemy of Mine and his.' I showered My love on you so that you might be reared under My watchful eye. 39 Recall when your sister walked along and said, "Shall I guide you to one who will take care of him?" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that her eyes might be cooled and that she might not grieve. And you killed a man and We delivered you from sorrow. We tested you with various trials. You stayed for a number of years among the people of Midian, then you came upto the standard, Moses. 40 "And I have Istana'tuka, for Myself. 41 "Go you and your brother with My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and do not, you both, slacken and become weak in My Remembrance. 42 “Both of you go to Firaun; he has indeed rebelled.” 43 Speak to him gently. He may possibly take heed or may come to have fear." 44 They both submitted, “Our Lord – indeed we fear that he may oppress us or deal mischievously.” 45 God said, "Do not fear; I am with you both. I hear and I see. 46 So, go to him, and say: 'Behold, both of us are the Messengers of your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not chastise them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord; and peace shall be for him who follows the true guidance. 47 It is revealed to us that a punishment will fall on those who belie and turn away." 48 Pharaoh said, 'Who is your Lord, Moses?' 49 Musa said: our Lord is He who vouchsafed unto everything its creation, then guided it. 50 (Pharaoh) said: "What then is the condition of previous generations?" 51 He said: The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a book, my Lord errs not, nor does He forget; 52 Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs. 53 Eat [therefrom] and pasture your livestock. Indeed, in that are signs for those of intelligence. 54
