Al-Qamar 3 of 3
And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour (of doom) is their appointed tryst, and the Hour will be more wretched and more bitter (than their earthly failure). 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 And Our commandment shall be but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
