The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 These are verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
