Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, 1 Until you come to the graves. 2 Nay, in time you will come to understand! 3 You shall cetainly know (about the consequences of your deeds). 4 Nay! If you knew with a sure knowledge (the end result of piling up, you would not have occupied yourselves in worldly things) 5 Ye shall certainly see Hell-Fire! 6 Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8
