Man says: "What! When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 Now, by thy Lord, We shall surely muster them, and the Satans, then We shall parade them about Gehenna hobbling on their knees. 68 and then We will draw aside from each party those who were most rebellious against the Most Compassionate Lord, 69 Then surely it is We who are the Best Knower of these worthiest of being therein roasted. 70 And there is none among you who shall not pass over hell; this is an obligatory affair, binding upon your Lord. (Allah will make everyone pass over the back of hell – on a thin bridge.) 71 Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 We have destroyed so many generations before them, who surpassed them in material power and splendour. 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the All-merciful prolong his term for him! Till, when they see that they were threatened, whether the chastisement, or the Hour, then they shall surely know who is worse in place, and who is weaker in hosts.' 75 Allah will increase those who were guided in guidance and things that abide. Good deeds are better in reward with your Lord, and, better in return. 76 Note the words of the disbeliever, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he, perchance, attained to a realm which is beyond the reach of a created being's perception? or has he concluded a covenant with the Most Gracious? 78 By no means! We write down what he says, and We will lengthen to him the length of the chastisement 79 And We shall inherit from him (at his death) all that he talks of (i.e. wealth and children which We have bestowed upon him in this world), and he shall come to Us alone. 80 And they have chosen Gods besides Allah, so that they may provide them strength! 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worshipping them, and they shall be adversaries to them. 82
