And when Musa said to his servant: I will not cease until I reach the junction of the two rivers or I will go on for years. 60 And when they reached the point where the two met, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the waters, being free. 61 So when they had gone beyond that place, Moosa said to his assistant, “Bring our breakfast – we have indeed faced great exertion in this journey of ours.” 62 Said [the servant]: "Wouldst thou believe it? When we betook ourselves to that rock for a rest, behold, I forgot about the fish - and none but Satan made me thus forget it - and it took its way into the sea! How strange!" 63 [Moses] exclaimed: "That [was the place] which we were seeking! And the two turned back, retracing their footsetps, 64 Then the twain found a bondman from Our bondmen, him We had vouchsafed a mercy from before Us, and him We had taught from Our presence a knowledge. 65 Moses said to him, "May I follow you on [the condition] that you teach me from what you have been taught of sound judgement?" 66 He said, "Indeed, with me you will never be able to have patience. 67 How could you be patient in matters beyond your knowledge?" 68 [Moses] said, "You will find me, if Allah wills, patient, and I will not disobey you in [any] order." 69 He (Khidr) said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention it to you." 70
