Thus did We deliver the Children of Israel from the humiliating chastisement, 30 From Fir'aun (Pharaoh); Verily! He was arrogant and was of the Musrifun (those who transgress beyond bound in spending and other things and commit great sins). 31 We knowingly exalted them (i.e., the Children of Israel) above other peoples of the world 32 And gave signs to them in which there was a clear trial. 33 Even then they say: 34 There is naught but our first death and we shall not be raised again. 35 "Then bring (back) our forefathers, if what ye say is true!" 36 Are they better, or the people of Tubba? And those who were before them? We destroyed them; they were indeed criminals. 37 It was not in idle sport that We created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. 38 We created them not save in truth; but most of them know it not. 39 Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time for them all - 40 The day when friend will help no friend in the least, nor will they be helped, 41 except those on whom Allah will have mercy. He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 42

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
