Therefore, remind. By the Favor of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor mad. 29 Or say they: (he is) a poet, (one) for whom we may expect the accident of time? 30 Say: Wait, for surely I too with you am of those who wait. 31 Or do their intellects bid them do this? Or are they an insolent people? 32 Or do they say, 'He has invented it?' Nay, but they do not believe. 33 Let them bring a discourse like thereunto, if they say sooth. 34 Were they created out of nothing, or are they their own creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, they have no firm belief. 36 Or do they have the treasures of your Lord, or are they the authority? 37 Or have they a stairway (to heaven), by means of which they listen (to the talks of the angels)? Then let their listener produce some manifest proof. 38 Or has He daughters while you have sons? 39 Or askest thou (Muhammad) a fee from them so that they are plunged in debt? 40 Or possess they the Unseen so that they can write (it) down? 41 Or are they planning a conspiracy? So the conspiracy will befall only upon the disbelievers. 42 Or have they a god other than Allah? Glory be to Allah from what they set up (with Him). 43 AND YET, if they [who refuse to see the truth] were to see part of the sky falling down, they would [only] say: "[It is but] a mass of clouds!" 44 so leave them alone till they face the Day on which they will be struck dumb, 45 the Day when none of their scheming will be of the least avail to them, and they will receive no succour. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a punishment beyond that. But most of them know not. 47 So wait patiently for the Judgement of your Lord -- you are certainly under Our watchful eye. And glorify and celebrate the praises of your Lord when you rise up [from your sleep]. 48 And in the night time, also glorify His Praises, and at the setting of the stars. 49
