Nay, verily: By the Moon, 32 by the retreating night, 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 Warn the men. 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 Concerning the guilty: 41 What hath brought you to this burning? 42 They will reply, "We did not pray, 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 Till death overtook us. 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessor.) 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 By no means! But they fear not the Hereafter, 53 No indeed; surely it is a Reminder; 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
God the Almighty always says the truth.
