And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). 16 Since the two scribes are sitting on each of his shoulders, he does not utter a word which is not recorded immediately by the watchful scribes. 17 There is not a word he utters but an observer is ready (to make note of it). 18 Lo, the agony of death has indeed come with the Truth. That is what you had sought to avoid. 19 And the Trumpet was blown; “This is the Day of the promised punishment.” 20 Each person will arrive attended by an [angel] to drive him on and another to bear witness. 21 (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 Cast ye twain into Hell every person rebellious, contumacious. 24 Forbidder of good, exceeder of limits, doubter, 25 Who set up with Allah another god. So cast him ye twain into the torment severe. 26 ۞ His satanic companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not mislead him, but he himself went astray". 27 He (Allah) will say: 'Do not dispute before Me. I sent you a warning beforehand. 28 “With Me, the decree does not change, and nor do I oppress the bondmen.” 29
