Verily those who keep away from evil and follow the straight path shall be in the midst of gardens and springs of water. 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other. 47 Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence. 48 ۞ [O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful. 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 And tell them of Abraham's guests, 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" 56 Messengers, what is your task?" 57 They said: "Verily we have been sent to a guilty people 58 Except Lut's followers: We will most surely deliver them all, 59 except his wife who is doomed to be left behind." 60
