Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
