And when your Lord called to Moses, saying: 'Go to the harmdoing nation, 10 the people of Pharaoh: do they have no fear?" 11 He said, “My Lord, I fear that they will deny me.” 12 I feel nervous and my tongue is not fluent, so send Aaron with me. 13 And they have a crime against me, therefore I fear that they may slay me. 14 The Lord said, "Have no fear, both of you go with Our miracles. We shall closely listen to you." 15 And come together unto Pharaoh and say: Lo! we bear a message of the Lord of the Worlds, 16 That you should send the children of Israel with us.' 17 The Pharaoh said, "Did we not bring you up in our home as an infant and did you not live with us for many years 18 And you did (that) deed of yours which you did, and you are one of the ungrateful. 19 Moses replied, "I did that when I was one of the misguided, 20 and I fled from you because I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and made me one of the messengers. 21 "And this is the favour with which thou dost reproach me,- that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel!" 22 The Pharaoh asked: "And what is the Lord of all the worlds?" 23 (Moses) said: "The Lord and Cherisher of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- if ye want to be quite sure." 24 (Firon) said to those around him: Do you not hear? 25 (Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers from the beginning!" 26 Fir'awn said: verily your apostle who hath been sent unto you is mad. 27 [Moses] said, "Lord of the east and the west and that between them, if you were to reason." 28 Said he, 'If thou takest a god other than me, I shall surely make thee one of the imprisoned.' 29 and Moses asked, "Even if I show you a clear sign?" 30 Said Firaun, “Then bring it, if you are of the truthful.” 31 So he cast his staff, and behold, it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew out his hand; thereupon it was white for the observers. 33
