We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them, nor I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
