Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And indeed, We have put the big stars in the heaven and We beautified it for the beholders. 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 And We have made in it means of subsistence for you and for him for whom you are not the suppliers. 20 And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure. 21 And We let loose the winds to fertilize [plants] and We send down water from the skies and let you drink thereof: and it is not you who dispose of its source 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 We know the ones of you who press forward, and We know the laggards; 24 and it is your Lord who will gather them. He is Wise, Knowing. 25
