Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 and that hour you are watching 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
