And assuredly We have created man and We know whatsoever his soul whispereth unto him, and We are nigher unto him than his jugular vein. 16 Behold! when the two receivers receive - one on the right hand and one on the left a sitter. 17 not a word he utters, but by him is an observer ready. 18 And the agony of death cometh in truth. (And it is said unto him): This is that which thou wast wont to shun. 19 And the trumpet shall be blown; that is the day of the threatening. 20 Every soul will be accompanied (by an angel) behind him and another as a witness. 21 (It will be said:) "Thou wast heedless of this; now have We removed thy veil, and sharp is thy sight this Day!" 22 And his comrade shall say, 'This is what I have, made ready.' 23 "Cast into Hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 “The one who appointed another God along with Allah – so both of you fling him into the severe punishment.” 26 ۞ And his comrade shall say, 'Our Lord, I made him not insolent, but he was in far error.' 27 (It was said): “Do not remonstrate in My presence. I had warned you. 28 The word will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants." 29
