Have you not seen that all those who are in the heavens and the earth, and the birds on the wing, sing the praises of God. Each one knows its obligations and its duties, and God knows whatever they do. 41 And to Allah belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, and to Allah is the return (of all). 42 Do you not see how God drives the clouds, then joins them together, then piles them into layers and then you see the rain pour from their midst? He sends down from the skies mountainous masses [of clouds] charged with hail, and He makes it fall on whom He will, and turns it away from whom He pleases. The flash of His lightning may well-nigh take away the sight. 43 Allah turns about the night and the day (to succeed one another); surely, in this there is a lesson for those who have eyes. 44 Allah hath created every animal of water. Of them is (a kind) that goeth upon its belly and (a kind) that goeth upon two legs and (a kind) that goeth upon four. Allah createth what He will. Lo! Allah is Able to do all things. 45 Verily We have sent down revelations and explained them. Allah guideth whom He will unto a straight path. 46 And they say: We believe in Allah and in the apostle and we obey; then a party of them turn back after this, and these are not believers. 47 When they are summoned to Allah and His messenger, in order that He may judge between them, behold some of them decline (to come). 48 But if the right is with them, they come to him willingly with submission. 49 Is in their hearts a disease? or doubt they? or fear they that Allah shall misjudge them, as also His apostle? Aye! these are the very wrong-doers! 50
