۞ O men! It is you, who stand in need of God, whereas He alone is self-sufficient, the One to whom all praise is due. 15 If He will, He could destroy you and bring about a new creation. 16 That is not a hard thing for Allah. 17 No one who carries a burden bears another's load; and even if the burdened soul cry out for help none will carry the least of its burden, however close a relative it may be. You can only warn those who fear their Lord in secret and fulfil their devotional obligations. Whoever grows in goodness does so for himself. To God is the journeying back. 18 Not alike are the blind and the seeing. 19 Nor are (alike) the darkness (disbelief) and the light (Belief in Islamic Monotheism). 20 Nor shade and heat of sunshine. 21 Nor are alike those that are living and those that are dead. Allah can make any that He wills to hear; but thou canst not make those to hear who are (buried) in graves. 22 You are naught but a warner. 23 And O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), We have indeed sent you with the Truth, giving glad tidings and heralding warnings; and there was a Herald of Warning in every group. 24 If they cry thee lies, those before them also cried lies; their Messengers came to them with the clear signs, the Psalms, the Illuminating Book; 25 Then seized I those who disbelieved, and how intense was My abhorrence! 26
