Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 The living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
