Al-Naml 6 of 7
The unbelievers say: "When we become dust, we and our forefathers, shall we really be brought out (from our graves)? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say: 'Journey in the land, then behold how was the end of the sinners.' 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 Yet they say: "When will this promise come to pass? (Tell Us) if you speak the truth." 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 Lo! thy Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. 73 Surely, your Lord knows what they hide in their hearts and what they reveal. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 Surely this Quran declares to the children of Israel most of what they differ in. 76 It is a guidance and a mercy to believers. 77 Indeed your Lord judges between them with His command; and He is the Almighty, the All Knowing. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 Verily thou canst not make the dead hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call when they flee turning their backs. 80 Nor can you lead the blind when they have gone astray. You can make none hear except those who believe in Our signs and have come to peace and submission. 81 ۞ Now, [as for the deaf and blind of heart -] when the word [of truth] stands revealed against them, We shall bring forth unto them out of the earth a creature, which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our messages. 82

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
