Al-Mu' minoon 5 of 6
And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 78 And He it is Who hath sown you broadcast in the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 And He it is Who giveth life and causeth death, and His is the difference of night and day. Have ye then no sense? 80 On the contrary they say things similar to what the ancients said. 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 Our fathers and we have been given such promises before. These are no more than ancient legends." 83 Ask them: "Whose is the earth and those who are in it? Tell us if you know" 84 They will say, "To God." Say, "So will you not pay heed? 85 Say: Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty dominion? 86 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: Will you not then guard (against evil)? 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will say, "(It belongs) to Allah." Say: "Then how are ye deluded?" 89 Nay! We have brought to them the truth, and most surely they are liars. 90 Never did Allah take unto Himself any son, nor is there any god other than He. (Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other. Glory be to Allah from all that they characterize Him with! 91 The All Knowing, of every hidden and the visible – so Supremacy is to Him over their ascribing of partners (to Him). 92

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
