Have you [Prophet] considered the man who turned away, 33 Who gives but little, and is niggardly? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
