Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The tree of Zaqqum 43 is the food of the guilty, 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 (And it will be said): Take him and drag him to the midst of hell, 47 Then pour boiling water over his head as punishment. 48 Taste this, you are a person mighty and noble! 49 This is that which you doubted' 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 Amidst gardens and springs. 52 Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another. 53 As such, We shall wed them to wide eyed houris (the virgins of Paradise). 54 There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 There they shall not taste death, except the first death, and He will shield them from the punishment of Hell, 56 as a bounty from your Lord. That will be the mighty triumph. 57 We have made this Quran easy to understand, in your own language, so that they may take heed. 58 Therefore wait (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) – they too are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
