Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
(As for) those who disbelieve and turn away from Allah's way, He shall render their works ineffective. 1 whereas those who have attained to faith and do righteous deeds, and have come to believe in what has been bestowed from on high on Muhammad - for it is the truth from their Sustainer - [shall attain to God's grace:] He will efface their [past] bad deeds, and will set their hearts at rest. 2 That is because those who disbelieved followed falsehood whereas those who believed followed the Truth that came to them from their Lord. Thus does Allah set forth to people parables showing their true state. 3 So when you confront the disbelievers, strike at their necks; until when you have slain them in plenty, tie them up firmly; then after that, you may either release them as a favour or take ransom, until the war lays down its ordeal; this is it; and had Allah willed He Himself could have taken revenge from them, but this is to test some of you with others; and Allah will surely never waste the deeds of those who were killed in His way. 4 He will guide them and set their condition right 5 And admit them to the Garden which He has announced for them. 6 Believers, if you aid Allah, He will come to your aid and will plant your feet firmly. 7 But as for the unbelievers, ill chance shall befall them! He will send their works astray. 8 That is because they hate that which Allah has sent down (this Quran and Islamic laws, etc.), so He has made their deeds fruitless. 9 ۞ Have they never journeyed through the land and seen what was the end of those who had gone before them? Allah destroyed them! Likewise it is for the unbelievers, 10 That is because God is the Protector of the believers, and that the unbelievers have no protector. 11
