So, when the envoys came to the folk of Lot, 61 He said: "You are people I do not know." 62 They said, "But we have come to you with that about which they were disputing, 63 And we have come to you with truth, and indeed, we are truthful. 64 Leave the town with your family sometime during the night. Walk behind them and let no one turn around. Proceed as you are commanded." 65 And [through Our messengers] We revealed unto him this decree: "The last remnant of those [sinners] shall be wiped out in the morn." 66 Then came the people of the city, exulting at the news. 67 rushed towards the house of Lot. Lot said to them, "These are my guests. Do not disgrace me. 68 and fear God, and do not degrade me.' 69 They said, “Had we not forbidden you from meddling in the affairs of anyone?” 70 He said, “These women of our tribe are my daughters, if you have to.” 71 By thy life, they wandered blindly in their dazzlement, 72 Then the (Awful) Cry overtook them at the sunrise. 73 And We made the upside there of downwards, and We rained on them stones of baked clay. 74 There are great Signs in this for those endowed with intelligence. 75 And the (cities were) right on the high-road. 76 Verily, herein lies a message indeed for all who believe [in God]. 77 AND THE DWELLERS of the wooded dales [of Madyan, too,] were inveterate evildoers, 78 We afflicted them with punishment. Both people had clear (divine) authority among them. 79

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
