Commemorate Our Servant Job. Behold he cried to his Lord: "The Evil One has afflicted me with distress and suffering!" 41 We said to him, “Strike the earth with your foot; this cool spring is for bathing and drinking.” (A spring gushed forth when he struck the earth – this was a miracle.) 42 And We gave him his family and the like of them with them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to those possessed of understanding. 43 "Take a handful of herbs," (We said to him), and apply and rub them, and do not make a mistake." We found him patient in adversity, an excellent devotee, always turning in repentance. 44 Also, remember Our worshipers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, those of might and vision. 45 Verily We! We distinguished them with a distinct quality: the remembrance of the Abode. 46 And behold, in Our sight they were indeed among the elect, the truly good! 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is an advice; and indeed for the pious is an excellent abode. 49 Gardens Everlasting, whereof the portals remain opened for them. 50 wherein they shall recline, wherein they shall ask for abundant fruit and drinks, 51 ۞ And with them are the pure spouses, who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, of single age. 52 This it is that ye are promised for the Day of Reckoning. 53 Indeed, this is Our provision; for it there is no depletion. 54 However, the rebellious ones will have the worst place to return. 55 They will suffer in hell. What a terrible dwelling! 56 This is so! Then let them taste it, a boiling fluid and dirty wound discharges. 57 and other torments of the like kind coupled together. 58 Here is a troop rushing headlong with you! No welcome for them! truly, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 (The followers of the misleaders will say): "Nay, you (too)! No welcome for you! It is you (misleaders) who brought this upon us (because you misled us in the world), so evil is this place to stay in!" 60 They will say: “Our Lord, give twofold punishment in the Fire to him who has led us to this.” 61 And will add: "O what has happened to us that we do not see the men we counted among the wicked. 62 Is it that we mistakenly made fun of them; or have they disappeared from our sight?” 63 Verily all this is true. This is how the inmates of the Fire will dispute among themselves. 64
