We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
