(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 As convenience for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 then he who transgressed 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
