Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
