The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Verily therein is a sign; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
