O ye messengers! Eat of the good things, and do right. Lo! I am Aware of what ye do. 51 And verily this Brotherhood of yours is a single Brotherhood, and I am your Lord and Cherisher: therefore fear Me (and no other). 52 Yet they divided themselves into factions, each rejoicing in what they had. 53 So leave them to their ignorance for a time. 54 Do they think that what We extend to them of wealth and children 55 Is [because] We hasten for them good things? Rather, they do not perceive. 56 Verily those who for fear of their Lord are in awe. 57 who have full faith in the Signs of their Lord; 58 and who do not ascribe divinity to aught but their Sustainer, 59 And those who dispense their charity with their hearts full of fear, because they will return to their Lord;- 60 it is these who hasten to do good works and vie in so doing with one another. 61 We charge not any soul save to its capacity, and with Us is a Book speaking truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 NAY, [as for those who have torn asunder the unity of faith] - their hearts are lost in ignorance of all this! But apart from that [breach of unity] they have [on their conscience even worse] deeds; and they will [continue to] commit them 63 until We seize with Our chastisement those of them that are given to luxuriant ways. They will then begin to groan. 64 'Groan not today; surely you shall not be helped from Us. 65 Surely My signs have been rehearsed unto you, and upon your heel ye were wont to draw back. 66 In arrogance; talking nonsense about the Quran, and left him like one telling fables by night. 67 Did they never ponder over this Word (of God)? Or has he (to wit, the Messenger) brought something the like of which did not come to their forefathers of yore? 68 Or did they not know their Messenger, so they are toward him disacknowledging? 69 Or, say they: in him is madness? O Aye he brought them the truth, and most of them to the truth are averse. 70 But if the truth were in accord with their own likes and dislikes, the heavens and the earth would surely have fallen into ruin, and all that lives in them [would long ago have perished]! Nay, [in this divine writ] We have conveyed unto them all that they ought to bear in mind: and from this their reminder they [heedlessly] turn away! 71 Do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them? So the reward of your Lord is the best; and He is the Best Provider of Sustenance. 72 But verily thou callest them to the Straight Way; 73 And verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed deviating far astray from the Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 74 ۞ Did We have mercy on them, and remove the affliction that is upon them, they would persist in their insolence wandering blindly. 75 We seized them with the punishment, but they did not surrender to their Lord, nor will they humble themselves 76 Until when We shall open upon them a portal of severe torment, and lo! thereat they are desparing. 77
