۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
