Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – the Almighty, the Oft Forgiving.” 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense." 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 Till the period of the time made known. 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
