S (Saad)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Saad, by the Holy Reading (Koran) of the Remembrance. 1 In fact, the unbelievers are the ones who are boastful and quarrelsome. 2 Many a generation We did destroy before them – thereupon they cried out whereas it is not the time to escape! 3 And they marvel that a warner from among themselves hath come unto them, and the disbelievers say: This is a wizard, a charlatan. 4 They say, "Has he condemned all other gods but One? This is certainly strange". 5 Their leaders departed, saying, "Walk away! Hold fast to your deities. This is clearly a conspiracy. 6 "We never heard (the like) of this among the people of these latter days: this is nothing but a made-up tale!" 7 "What! has the Message been sent to him - (Of all persons) among us?"... but they are in doubt concerning My (Own) Message! Nay, they have not yet tasted My Punishment! 8 Or do they [think that they] own the treasures of thy Sustainer's grace - [the grace] of the Almighty, the Giver of Gifts? 9 Is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, for them? So would they not just ascend using ropes? 10 [They are but] soldiers [who will be] defeated there among the companies [of disbelievers]. 11 The people of Noah, Ad and the dominating Pharaoh had rejected Our revelations. 12 and the tribe of Thamud, and the people of Lot, and the dwellers of the Wood -- these were the confederates. 13 Each of them denied the messengers, so My penalty was justified. 14
