Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 Until ye come to the graves. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 And once again: Nay, in time you will come to understand! 4 Lo! would that ye knew now with the surety of knowledge! 5 Indeed you will see hell. 6 Then you shall most certainly see it with the eye of certainty; 7 On that Day, you shall be questioned about the pleasures. 8
