Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say, "It is great news 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 So all the angels prostrated themselves 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 Till the period of the time made known. 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
