The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 We were told about this and so were our forefathers before us. But these are no more than fairy tales that have been recounted from ancient times." 68 Say: "Travel in the land and see how (bad) was the end of sinners." 69 And grieve you not for them, nor be straitened (in distress) because of what they plot. 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 say thou: "It may well be that something of that which [in your ignorance] you so hastily demand has already drawn close unto you." 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 The Lord knows full well what they conceal in their hearts and what they disclose: 74 And there is nothing concealed in the heaven and the earth but it is in a clear book. 75 Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; 76 And indeed, it is guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 Therefore put your trust in Allah, for you are upon a clear truth. 79 You do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear you call when they turn about, retreating. 80 just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error; none canst thou make hear save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us. 81 ۞ And when the Word is fulfilled against them (the unjust), we shall produce from the earth a beast to (face) them: He will speak to them, for that mankind did not believe with assurance in Our Signs. 82
