Therefore, remind. By the Favor of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor mad. 29 Or do they say: “He is a poet for whom we await an adverse turn of fortune.” 30 Say (O Muhammad SAW to them): "Wait! I am with you, among the waiters!" 31 is it their minds that prompt them [to say] this, or are they merely insolent people? 32 Do they say: 'He has invented it' No, they do not believe. 33 Then let them bring a discourse like it, if they speak truly. 34 Were they created of nothing, or were they themselves the creators? 35 Or have they created the heavens and the earth? In fact they are certain of nothing. 36 Do they possess the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the treasurers? 37 Or, do they have a ladder on which they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Do the daughters belong to Him and the sons to you? 39 Or do you ask them for a reward, so that they are overburdened by a debt? 40 Do they have knowledge of the unseen, thus, are able to predict (the future)? 41 Do they want to hatch some plot? Those who deny the truth will be the victims of the plot. 42 Or have they a god other than Allah? Glory be to Allah from what they set up (with Him). 43 Even if they were to see a part of the heavens falling down upon them, they would say, "It is only dense cloud". 44 So, leave them until they face their day (of doom) when they will be stunned. 45 when their stratagem shall be of no avail to them, nor shall they be succoured. 46 And there surely awaits the evildoers a chastisement beyond even that, but most of them know it not. 47 And so, await in patience thy Sustainer's judgment, for thou art well within Our sight. And extol thy Sustainer's limitless glory and praise whenever thou risest up, 48 And in the night, give Him glory too, and at the setting of the stars. 49
