We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
